Butter tea is very special kind of tea of Ladakh. Ladakhi people call it Gur Gur. You can easily make butter tea at your home and enjoy this chilling winter with hot and creamy butter tea.
Ingredients: tea leaf, sugar, milk powder, water, cardamom, bay leaf.
1. Take a bowl and add 2 cup water and boil it on a high flame of gas. When the water gets boiled then separate half cup water and keep it boiling on low flame.
2. Add 2 teaspoon sugar, 3/4 cardamom seeds, 2 bay leaves and leave it for another 2 minutes. After 2 minutes add 2 teaspoons fresh dry tea leaf and keep it boiling on medium flame.
3. Take any container of blender machine/ mixer grinder machine and add 2 tablespoon milk powder (You can also use hot milk instead of milk powder; then you need to boil one cup of water), half cup boiled water and 1 tablespoon butter. After that, you need to blend this mixer until it becomes frothy.
4. After that, strain the boiled tea into a cup and add blended milk into it. Add equal quantity of tea and milk. Your butter tea has become ready. Enjoy your tea with some snacks.
